Sunday, June 4, Jackson Heights Queens took the form of celebration of gender equality, gay rights and non-discrimination.
Every year around the same time, New York City Council openly gay Council member organizes this parade to celebrate
and promote LGBT rights. Hundreds of people lined up the Street from 89th Street and 37th Avenue to 75th Street cheering,
clapping, and politicians lined up with Daniel Dromm to match along parade route. By all accounts, a nice event that the fear of
rain did not dampen the enthusiasm of those taking in the festivity that mark this event.
Our World Media magazine staff was on hand to bring you the following photo’s and short clips from this Sunday LGBT Parade.
