Deajah Stevens who is a 2016 U.S. Olympian and a graduate from Benjamin Cardozo High School in Queens, NY has been running at the University of Oregon since 2015.
Deajah and her Oregon teammates captured three titles and set three new meet records at last weekends Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
The Women’s 4×100 Meter (42.35), Sprit Medley (3:39.05) & 4x400m (3:24.72) relay Championship of America titles. Not many teams in the history of the Penn Relays have been capable of pulling off what these ladies accomplished.
Deajah 200m split of (21.68) and her 400m split of (51.03) looks like she’s gearing up to capture the NCAA Women’s 100 & 200 meter titles in June at Hayward Field, Eugene, OR. We wish Deajah the best of luck and hope to see her back in Queens soon.
