James Felton Keith has too many first names, so most people call him JFK. He is an award winning engineer economist and author. He has founded and incubated an industry: As Chairman of the International Personal Data Trade Association he launched Personal Data Week in NYC. James has built a global ecosystem of Cyber InsurTech (insurance technology) via Cyberfense, and predictive analytics via Accrue Inc, the IBM Watson backed predictive analytics FinTech (financial technology) firm. He also Co-Founded Slay., the Queer TV Network and AdTech (advertising technology) firm housed at Made-In-NY. JFK is an expert in the ethnography of technology or the study of the culture of tech. He has spent the past 20 years between 4 continents obsessing about economic inclusion, and how to get equity back in the hands of the people who have increasingly less while the world becomes more productive as a result of their input.

A staunch progressive, he’d say that it’s necessary to have the mind of a CEO and the heart of a Social Worker to solve real people problems. He’s an activist, who just happened to go to engineering and business school. James has been appointed to the cabinet of Elected Officials, taken over for and advised CEOs, Academics, and Non-profiteers.

JFK currently serves on boards at the New York County Democratic Committee, the Democratic National Committee, Out in Science Technology Engineering and Math, and NYC Black & Latino LGBT Coalition. Most recently he was honored as one of the United Nations International Young Leaders Assembly members, the United Kingdom’s Technology & Investment Financial Technology Delegation, an IBM Global Entrepreneur, the US Department of Homeland Security’s Commitment to Diversity, and multiple 40 under 40 notices.
