Community Spirit Shines at Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run
This past Saturday, downtown Jamaica came alive as the third annual Jamaica Q 5K Walk/Run took center stage, uniting the local community for a day of fitness, fun, and camaraderie. With over 530 participants, this year’s event exceeded expectations, creating an unforgettable atmosphere along Jamaica’s vibrant corridors.
Organized by the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation (GJDC), the 5K event was a major success thanks to the overwhelming support of attendees and volunteers. The GJDC expressed their gratitude to all who contributed, with a special shoutout to the volunteers whose hard work ensured the race was a memorable experience.
From first-time runners to seasoned competitors, participants celebrated both personal victories and a collective achievement as they crossed the finish line. Congratulations to all the winners and finishers who took part in the event.
