New York, NY (December 27, 2017) — The Armory Foundation continues the holiday celebration with its Marine Corps Holiday Classic, one of the most-anticipated high school indoor track & field meets on the East Coast, on Friday, December 29 at The Armory New Balance Track & Field Center in Washington Heights.
WHO: Some of the expected entrants include:
Top female student-athletes:
· Shaniya Hall, Bullis (MD): US#1 at 400 meters. She will be running the 200 and 300 meter dashes.
· Katherine Lee, Shoreham-Wading River (NY): 4th at the 2017 Foot Locker National Cross Country Finals. Lee will be running the 800 meters.
· Lanae-Tava Thomas, Rush Henrietta (NY): US#1 in the Long Jump. Thomas will also run the 200 meter dash.
· Christina Warren, Perkiomen Valley (PA): US#2 in the Triple Jump. She also will run the 55 meter hurdles.
Top male student-athletes:
· Austin Kratz, Dock Mennonite Academy (PA): US#1 at 300 meters. Kratz will be running the 200 meter dash.
· Donovan Louis, Potomac Senior High School (VA): US#1 in the Long Jump.
· Bryan Ahouman, Potomac Senior High School (VA): US#1 at 55 meters.
· Carlon Hosten, Taft Educational Campus (NY): US#3 at 300 meters.
