JFK CHAMBERS REMEMBERS 911 CEREMONY

On Monday, Sept. 11 the JFK Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Port Authority of NY & NJ hosted a very moving solemn ceremony to remember and pay respect to all those who perished on September 11, 2011. The event was supported by the Queens Chamber of Commerce under Executive Director of Queens Chamber Thomas Grech The ceremony held at JFK Airport Ball Field began at 8:00am and lasted until 10:00am. LGBT PARADE IN JACKSON HEIGHTS QUEENS

  Sunday, June 4, Jackson Heights Queens took the form of celebration of gender equality, gay rights and non-discrimination. Every year around the same time, New York City Council openly gay Council member organizes this parade to celebrate and promote LGBT rights. Hundreds of people lined up the Street from 89th Street and 37th Avenue to 75th Street cheering, clapping, and politicians lined up with Daniel Dromm to match along parade route.
