Sharing just under half its parts with the R8 GT3 LMS race car, the Audi R8 Coupe is bred through the lens of motorsport. The 540-hp or 610-horsepower V10 plus provides ideal vehicle balance through its center of gravity and dynamic weight transfer. The R8 Coupe features unique technology, emulating a rear-wheel drive vehicle, but with the ability to send up to 100% of available torque to the front axle, depending on the driving situation. The R8 comes standard with Audi magnetic ride, which uses a synthetic blend of oils that contain tiny magnetic particles to create a magnetic field within the shock absorber.
